Biographical history

O físico italiano Erasmo Recami (1939-2021) nasceu em Milão. Foi professor na área de mecânica quântica, matemática aplicada, física de partículas elementares, física nuclear, relatividade geral e história da Física. Ingressou na Unicamp em 1984 no Departamento de Matemática Aplicada do Instituto de Matemática, Estatística e Computação Científica (IMECC), departamento que coordenou entre 1987 e 1989. Em 1995, após sair da Universidade, passou a dar aulas na Università degli Studi di Bergamo, na Itália, onde se aposentou.
