"Detailed measurements on line shape of the two lowest polaritions of A1 symmetry have been made. Comparison between the experimental data with the prediction of two models of interfering sytems, the Fano's description of the Auger processes and two damped harmonic oscillators with linear complex couplex is presented. The numerical agreement of both theories with the observed shapes is excellent, but the paramets of the oscillators which fit the data differ remarkably from one theory to the other".
